Aspheric lens is designed with a single element, which helps to reduce the number of lenses found in multi-lens optical components. In other words, unlike a conventional lens with a spherical front surface, and an aspheric lens has a more complex front surface that gradually changes curvature from the center of the lens to the outside of the lens edge. The reduction in the total number of components not only helps to reduce the size or weight of the system, but also simplifies the assembly process. Integrating aspheric surfaces into applications.

Precision aspheric lens can eliminate spherical aberration and improve the focusing and collimating accuracy in various laser applications. And a precision aspheric lens with a low numerical aperture is designed to preserve the shape of the beam, while a high numerical aperture precision aspheric lens collects all available light sources to maintain beam power over long distances. Applications include targeting systems, barcode scanners, laser diode, fiber coupling, optical data storage or biomedical lasers.
